Cramer began her interest in neuroscience while studying biopsychology. Biopsychology is the study of brain and behaviour and this is where she earned a four year Bachelor of Science. This is a science degree that looks at the specific areas of the brain involved in different behaviours and personality, along with applications of neuropsychological testing. She then continued onto a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology. During this time her focus was on the effects of the vestibulo-sympathetic system, and cardiac rehab.
