Ready At Five is a small organization with a big mission. Founded in 1992 in response to the first National Education Goal: "All children will enter school ready to learn," we are dedicated to elevating school readiness for all Maryland children. We accomplish this mission through four strategic priorities: Communicate Maryland's school readiness data and national research to inform early care and education practice, policy, and investment decisions. Generate public awareness and engage constituents to invest in early care and education and school readiness. Identify, create, and transfer innovative practices and resources to improve the early care and education experiences of young children. Collaborate with stakeholders to help ensure that all Maryland children have high-quality early learning experiences.
