Raconteur Theatre Company tells stories for the people, by the people, about the people. Our mission is to produce consistently high quality plays that tell engaging and challenging stories that are relevant to people in all walks of life. This mission is the source for the Raconteur name, which is defined as a "storyteller or a person noted for telling stories with skill and wit." We chose the name because we are seeking to revive storytelling as a crucial community experience. To that end, we will present lesser-known and new scripts in order to offer the Columbus, Ohio audience an increasingly diverse spectrum of plays.
