Majoring in sculpture and drawing under the tutelage of Charles Umlauf at The University of Texas in Austin, my love for the human figure was solidified. Working from life continues to inspire my oil portraits and figurative works. Drawing portraits in charcoal and pencil follows a close second. Plein Air landscape painting is soon to be added to my interests.
