The idea of Project Franchise was born out of our frustrations with crappy sports team management and enhanced by the ultimate dream of running our own franchise. So we are bringing the power to the people by buying an affordable minor league team, building up a base of online Fans and letting them call the shots. At one point or another every sports fan has wondered out loud if they could do a better job than the guy running their favorite squad and now they have the chance to prove it. We’ve done our homework, both crunching numbers and talking to almost every US minor league, and it’s actually pretty realistic for us to raise the necessary money and buy ourselves a minor-league squad that our Fans can run via easy online voting. Using revenues from a small annual fan membership fee, paired with sponsorships and private investments, we will buy a minor league sports franchise, then allow the Fans to vote on everything from player personnel decisions to what type of condiments we
