Project ALS identifies and funds the most promising scientific research that will lead to the first effective treatments and a cure for ALS - a brain disease that is closely related to Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and Huntington’s diseases.Historically, ALS research was conducted by researchers working separately on various aspects of the disease.
