Owner Bob Portogallo started making his almost famous spicy giardiniera pepper blend as a hobby to give his friends and family during the holidays. After numerous requests for more, he began to sell his giardiniera and Italian beef & sausage sandwiches at local farmers markets and festivals. Soon after, he opened a sandwich shop in his hometown, Swissvale, PA.After much success and encouragement from friends and family, here we are now in the former home of Jimmy's Donuts, a Braddock institution.
