In January 2013, two socially & environmentally cautious individuals got together and have founded the benefit corporation, " Pinafan" in Boston, Massachusetts with a strong focus on social and environmental aspect of giving back to communities. We have pledged to begin a journey to change communities and the world by simply Giving Back. Our Business model is an unique model. Why benefit corporation? Why not forming a non-profit company? There are many non-profit companies that already exist out there, and they rely on people to donate money. However, There are still many people who have never donated or supported a charity before or do not want to give away money, therefore, asking for money to people may not seem like a good idea. So we thought why not making people to purchase a product that gives money to a cause or communities they really care about.
