Philip is a licensed attorney who practiced civil defense litigation for 12 years before becoming a professional mediator and arbitrator, based on an emerging conviction that conflict is most effectively resolved without the emotional and financial cost of litigation. Ms. Philip offers mediations both of litigated cases and of disputes in which no formal lawsuit has been filed, and acts as an agreed-upon arbitrator in private arbitrations as well as MAR and UM/UIM arbitrations.
