One River School of Art and Design is a new direction in creative education for all ages. Our mission is Lifelong Creative Learning. We teach innovative programs to people of all ages, in a progressive environment, using the highest quality tools and materials, led by the most compelling teachers possible. One River embraces a very simple philosophy: great educational experiences are a function of compelling people teaching compelling concepts in a fun, interactive way. Whether we are teaching art, digital design, or lecture-based programs, we are committed to developing a critical awareness of contemporary art and design within an atmosphere of independent thought. Our center is also home to One River Gallery, staging exhibitions from emerging artists who are prepared to participate on the New York art stage and mid-career artists who have already done so.
