Like many startup ventures, Office Product Gurus was launched on a shoe-string, powered by big aspirations and enthusiasm for serving others. Rocket IT came along in 2012 and fueled the venture with an acquisition that added financial stability, office space, administrative support, and more. However, after nearly two years of effort, Office Product Gurus simply didn’t grow as quickly as we’d hoped. The bottom line is that the office supplies is a highly competitive, high-volume commodity market that is already served well by others. After much thought and discussion, we feel we can make a bigger impact by focusing our energy elsewhere. Therefore, it is with pride, sorrow, joy and heartache that I announce that Office Product Gurus is permanently shutting its doors and I am shifting my fulltime focus to supporting the entrepreneurial, community, and growth initiatives of Rocket IT.
