Northbrook Cycle Committee Careers in Northbrook, IL

The purpose of the not for profit 501 (c) Northbrook Cycle Committee, as a Northbrook Park District affiliated organization, is to encourage the people in Northbrook and neighboring communities in the rational and safe practice of the activity and sport of cycling. More specifically the objectives of the Northbrook Cycle Committee are the following: 1. To encourage and aid participation in bicycle racing on the Ed Rudolph Velodrome bicycle track for the benefit of the members and the entertainment of the public; 2. To encourage the use of the bicycle as transportation and of bicycling as vigorous and healthful exercise; 3. To help the members and the people in the community in the wise selection, safe operation, and adequate maintenance of the Ed Rudolph velodrome. 4. To encourage and aid its members and the citizens of Northbrook and neighboring communities in the rational and safe practice of the sport of bicycle racing.
