About Norris Cylinder
First established in 1930 by Kenneth T. Norris as a producer of fabricated metal products, the company has developed an expertise in metal forming that is unmatched. In 1981, Norris Industries opened Norris Cylinder Company in Longview, Texas to produce high pressure cylinders. From its inception, the principle objective of the company has been to manufacture the highest quality products used for the shipping and dispensing of compressed gases, while exceeding customer expectations of value and service. In 2010, Norris Cylinder acquired certain assets related to Taylor-Wharton’s cylinder business in Huntsville, Alabama furthering the objective to provide the highest quality products in the industry. The Huntsville facility began operating in 1975 and gradually expanded operations to include HP cylinders and shell manufacturing.
