He received his Bachelor’s degree at the University of New College, The Honors college before attending medical school at Central America Health Sciences University. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Shaygan is a member of several prestigious and professional committees, including the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine.
