Nconnect Nw Careers in Vancouver, WA

nConnect is a non profit organization that joins industry professionals with students, teachers and others with a goal of inspiring academic success and encouraging more individuals to pursue education, training with careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Mentoring: nConnect's AP/Small group mentoring program links industry professionals to small groups of students taking AP science and math classes and working on senior research projects. Volunteers provide tutoring and mentoring and help show the relevance of students' classes to the "real world". Through the STEM Initiative, nConnect is providing mentors to a nine county region of Southwest Washington and Northern Oregon. STEM mentors may be college students pursuing a STEM degree, STEM professionals, or retirees from a STEM field.
