The University-Model School® (UMS) vision is to strengthen Christian families and values by partnering with parents to prepare college-worthy, character witnesses of Christ for the next generation. The mission of NAUMS is to share this vision with Christian families around the world. There are two guiding purposes of this ministry, nationally and locally: 1) to preserve and strengthen the God-ordained family relationship, and 2) to offer students the opportunity to achieve a high degree of academic excellence. With these purposes as the foundation of the UMS, the National Association serves as both an outreach ministry and a ministry of support to every University-Model School® in the pursuit of academic quality established in a strong Christian environment. Parents are the key, the character of Christ is the goal, education is the means, and excellence the standard in every University-Model School®.
