National Academy for MRI Technologists (NAMRIT) offers a comprehensive twelve to fifteen month Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist Certificate Program. The comprehensive Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist Certificate Program provides 400 didactic hours and 1000 clinical externship (Clinical Practicum) hours of MRI training. The Program is developed to prepare students to operate MRI equipment safely and competently to produce diagnostic images. The School will coordinate Clinical Practicum rotations for MRI students at select state-of-the-art MRI centers in the Atlanta metro area. Having completed this Program, the student will have sufficient knowledge and skills to work in a private freestanding MRI center, mobile MRI center, or hospital (including governmental) MRI department as an MRI technologist.
