We began our adventure in early 2011 after running a “daily deal” for our Chiropractic office in Houston, TX. It was a hit and made us realize that people very much need health services. But they are also needing a price break! Thus, it sparked an idea to start a similar site for all health care professionals who share the same cares as we do: “Discount” does not mean “poor quality!” I mean, why not? With many companies forced to make decisions such as cut jobs, salaries or health care, many are choosing to make the cuts in the health arena. While saving jobs is to be applauded, the cuts in healthcare start to take a toll when you go to a doctor to find out that the deductible is so high you can’t afford the procedure, or what used to be covered, is no longer available.
