Montgomery County Committee On Aging Dba The Friendship Center Careers in Conroe, TX

The mission of The Friendship Center is to provide support, advocacy and services to senior adults in Montgomery County so that they may remain independent and vital members of the community. We accomplish this mission through our four main programs: Transportation, Meals on Wheels, Case Management and Congregate Meals/Activities. We operate six centers throughout Montgomery County, Texas in Willis, The Woodlands, New Caney, Magnolia, Montgomery and Conroe. Last year, we provided over 20,000 trips to senior adults and served over 100,000 meals to homebound seniors. Of course, as we are a non-profit all of our services are free of charge to anyone over the age of 60. Each day we have dozens of classes and activities available for seniors to participate in. Some of the more popular groups are Spanish lessons, Line Dancing, Tai Chi, Glee Club, Knitting, Book Club and Bridge.
