Mission Ridge (also know as "the Ridge") opened in 1966 and is unique among all Washington ski areas for its close proximity to a city. The Wenatchee Valley area has a thriving tourism industry with the Columbia River, wineries, fruit stands, hiking, biking, river rafting, golfing, fishing, and festivals, and its central location between Seattle and Spokane.Only 12 miles outside of Wenatchee, WA on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains, Mission Ridge has four chairlifts, two rope tows, and more than 36 designated runs spread over 2,000 acres and 2,250 vertical feet. We have a great mix of terrain for all levels; 10% is beginner, 60% is intermediate and 30% is advanced or expert.
