About MCB Tennis Foundation ("Little Mo" junior tournaments)

The MCB Tennis Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization which furthers the development of junior tennis. Founded in 1968 by Maureen "Little Mo" Connolly and Nancy Jeffett, the foundation continues to this day under the leadership of Cindy Brinker Simmons (President and Maureen's daughter), Brenda Brinker Bottom (Vice President and Maureen's daughter), Elizabeth Jeffett (Vice President and Nancy's daughter), Carol Weyman (Executive Vice President) and a capable advisory board. Maureen was the first woman to win the Grand Slam in 1953 at 18 years of age and is still the only American woman and the youngest player to have accomplished this magnificent feat. The foundation organizes the "Road to the Little Mo Nationals" - a year-long circuit of sectional, regional, national junior tennis tournaments primarily for high performance players ages 7-11 who live in the USA. Also, the "Little Mo" Internationals in Bermuda (April), California (July), New York (August) and Florida (December)
