Mather Lifeways Careers in Chicago, IL

We are Mather LifeWays a unique, non-denominational not-for-profit organization based in Evanston, Illinois, founded more than 75 years ago. We are dedicated to developing and implementing Ways to Age Well by creating programs, places, and residences for today’s young-at-heart older adults. It is the sum of our parts our three areas of service that showcase the depth of our organization. We provide a continuum of living and care through our senior living residences, which include Life Plan Communities in Evanston and Tucson, and an independent living community in Wilmette, Illinois.We make neighborhoods better places for older adults to live, work, learn, contribute, and play through our community-based initiatives, which include three Chicago locations for Mather’s More Than a Café as well as “without walls” programs that provide community-based classes, events, and luncheons for older adults. The success of our Café concept encouraged us to show other organisations how to create similar experiences.
