Empowering Homeless Women & Children to Reclaim Their Lives! Mary’s Place is the only weekday drop-in day program for homeless and formerly homeless women and their children. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Mary’s Place provides a welcoming and safe environment where women and children can build community and find resources to improve their lives. Our staff includes formerly homeless women whose leadership provides inspiration and hope. Basic survival needs are met during the day: breakfast and lunch, showers, and laundry facilities. Participants provide leadership with these daily operations and perform setup and cleaning. A morning house meeting is held to allocate tasks and also provides an opportunity to share news and concerns. Resources are offered for vocational, housing, and financial needs. Discussion groups, classes, and on-site services contribute to physical and emotional health. We partner with area organizations to offer regular shelter screenings
