Mainstay Life Services began in the late 1960s as two separate agencies who merged in 1999. Currently, services are provided to nearly 250 people who are living at home, with a host family, or in one of the agency’s 50 single-family homes or apartments. For the past 38 years, the agency has provided respite care each summer for 80 adults.
