Lynn Fecteau Studio Careers in Miami, FL

Lynn Fecteau Studio is a working studio. Lynn paints tropical acrylic window paintings. I am originally from Philadelphia, and attended Philadelphia College of the Art, my last year on a scholarship for excellence in printmaking and painting. I’ve always had a strong connection with nature. As a small child when events would get chaotic in our home, I would literally head for the woods or ocean. I grew up in New Jersey around the shore and I remember going out to sit on my favorite jetty for hours looking out at the sea. My Mother would come looking for me worried that I was a bit weird. Now that I’m older and can reflect on my reasons, I see that I always felt that connection to nature. I was using the natural world to calm and center myself. I still do that. My backyard in Miami is a haven in the city. I have blooming orchids and flowers everywhere. This year I put a butterfly garden in and we have lots of Monarchs that we enjoy.
