Lewis Electric was originally opened by a couple that relocated here in Granville Co. from the New York area. We were one of the first Electrical and Plumbing companies in this area. Lewis Electric and Plumbing was involved in providing power and indoor plumbing to most the houses in the rural areas of the county during the mid 40’s and early 50’s.Nelson Wilson soon came to work and learn the business from the owners. During the years that followed he bought and moved the company from the Main Street location to the present 912 Williamsboro Street location. As the business continued to grow all of the family members were soon working here.It is here where we all learned how important family and customers are.
