Leucadia House is owned and operated by Robert Reiss, M.D. and Cicely Reiss, M.A., a certified RCFE administrator. Opening an RCFE has been a longtime goal of the Reiss family. Dr. Reiss has directly cared for hundreds of elderly patients in Encinitas as an internist and kidney specialist over the past twenty years.He is very familiar with health and social concerns of the elderly. He served as medical director at a long term care facility for almost ten years, providing quality assurance to frail seniors and their families. He will act as a consultant to Leucadia House.
