Gerald C. Rovner practices in his own immigration law firm in Boston, MA. After graduation from Clark Univ., Worcester, MA, he received his J.D. from Rutgers Univ. School of Law (Newark, N.J.), and has been an active member of the legal community ever since. He is a Past Chair of the New England Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), has served as the Chair of AILA’s National Liaison Committee with the Vermont Service Center, is a past member of AILA’s National Benefit’s Center Liaison Committee and a past member of AILA’s Administrative Appeals Office Liaison Committee. Since 1999, he has been a member of the Massachusetts Governor’s Advisory Council on Immigrants and Refugees. He is a Past Chair of the Legal Fee Arbitration Board of the Mass Bar Assoc. and is a Life Fellow of the Mass Bar Foundation and currently serves as a member of the Immigration Law Section Council.
