Labs 2 Learn Careers in Midlothian, VA

Labs 2 Learn builds upon the massive open online courses ("MOOC") that have taken the educational industry by storm. MOOC's provide a theoritical distance learning experience through online lecture videos, sections, PDFs of handouts, discussion sets and quizzes. However, MOOC's have completion rates lower than 10% and the one major issue preventing them from wide-spread acceptance is poor course design. Poor course design was at the top of an online survey published to determine the cause of students dropping out of the course. Students routinely complained of "lecture fatigue" from online courses that only presented online lecture videos, PDFs of handouts, and quizzes. Labs 2 Learn solves this problem, and improves students pass rates. We provide a practical learning experience through partnerships with Colleges, Universities, and MOOC providers.
