Charles Sabah started Sabah International as a sole proprietorship in November of 1972 and incorporated in California in April 1979, specializing in Special Hazards Fire Protection with particular emphasis in Halon 1301 systems. Halon 1301 was in its infancy at that time but Sabah believed that its features and benefits would be needed in the expanding electronics market. With changes to EPA requirements, the production of Halon was phased out January 1, 1994, and the company now installs new replacement Clean Agent Suppression Systems. Led by company officers Michele Sabah, CEO, and Matt Ramsey, President, Sabah International is celebrating 40 years of uninterrupted business under the same management.
