Artist, Design, Sculptor..... I look for influences everywhere, no matter what shape they present themselves in; more often than not, they find me (the darkest effects beneath layers of sunshine, or the most uplifting wealth of comfort in the dead of a paralyzed night). I record the influx of worldly influences in everything from the most familiar to the definition of obscure; the most effective tools for communication can be the fundamentals of our daily lives which we routinely ignore. By recording these influences in a journal, I can later take a look back at the numerous instances of unusual observations and merge them into one cohesive work. I find that the original concept for a three-dimensional work is often a structural challenge as well which has allowed me to approach any media with a sense of stimulation in its potential strengths in materializing a vision.
