JX NCTI was originally formed in 1989 (as Nisseki Chemical Texas Incorporated) to manufacture specialty chemicals utilizing proprietary technology developed by JX NOE. Production began in June of 1994 with the company realizing continual growth and significant expansions in manufacturing capabilities in 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2006 and 2009.
