Always having an interest in the financial side of things, Janine attended Rider University and, in 1989, received a BS degree in Accounting. She started her financial career as a Supervisor in the accounting department at Merrill Lynch/State Street Bank. This position provided a strong foundation, not only in the world of accounting, but in business as well. In 2004, she felt the need to branch out and create a business on her own terms. Over the next 8 years she created, and ran, two consumer-to-consumer businesses, both of which were sold at a profit. During this time, continuing to have a strong interest in the financial arena, she also took on various bookkeeping clients.
