James River Trade Exchange is Richmond's Premier Business-to-Business Barter/Trade Group consisting of over 200 local businesses who trade their services and goods among other members within the exchange; the main benefit being to conserve cash. JRTE brokers facilitate, track, record, and manage all trade activity and members' accounts. Through JRTE, members are able to move excess inventory and services to earn 'trade dollars' which can then be used at their discretion for items and services they normally would have to spend cash to acquire.
