From its inception 20 years ago, the IRF has protected and conserved rhinos in areas where they are most in need of attention and where conservation action will have the most significant impact. We do this by maintaining a hard-working presence in rhino range countries, and by partnering with like-minded organizations. All of us at IRF passionately believe that what we do will help save these magnificent creatures from extinction. These three things – hard work, partnership, and passion – are cornerstones of everything we do. IRF is committed to maintaining a lean and effective organization. We maintain only 3 paid staff members in the U.S. Much of the administrative and creative support for IRF is donated pro-bono by the generous institutions and organizations represented on the IRF Board.
