Herbert A. Tillman has been active in law enforcement and the private security industry for over 50 years. He retired after 20 years in law enforcement as the Commander of Community Affairs/Crime Prevention Division. He became the Director of Security for a major Florida Bank managing a “contract “ staff of 65 officers with 65 branch facilities. Herb later managed a “proprietary” security staff at a 400 room hotel located in Lake Buena Vista, FL. He accepted a partnership in Eagle-One International, Inc. a marketing company for Covert & Tactical products as the Managing Director. The company sold and his new challenge came in 1998 when he became the Chief of Security for the walled-gated community of Isleworth. Five years later he took control of the Homeland Security Training Center at Mid Florida Tech as Program Manager and Lead Instructor. In 2012 he retired to pursue other challenges as an Independent Contractor for Training and Operational Staff Assessments.
