About Helios School
Helios School (formerly Helios New School) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit school in Sunnyvale, CA focused on the education and well being of gifted students and their families. Based on best practices from the Roeper School, the Rocky Mountain School for the Gifted and Creative, and the Nueva School, Helios delivers a rigorous, experiential, project-based curriculum with an emphasis on social-emotional learning and foreign language acquisition. We've recently made the move from a cozy (but too small) section of the Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto, to a spacious 4 acre location in Sunnyvale. This has provided the wonderful opportunity for our school to grow in population and for our kids to experience new academic and creative opportunities.
