Located just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, HANDCRANKED PRODUCTIONS, LLC is known for visually rich, highly textured mixed-media design that blends diverse techniques such as stop-motion animation, affected live action, miniature sets, digital compositing, and experimental filmmaking. Bryan Papciak & Jeff Sias first worked together at Olive Jar Studios in Boston, directing highly original mixed-media television commercials for clients such as Cartoon Network, Samsung, NBC, 7-11, and others. After Olive Jar's closing in 2001, Bryan & Jeff continued their creative partnership by forming HANDCRANKED PRODUCTIONS, LLC, as well as HANDCRANKED FILM PROJECTS - an ecclectic studio of active artists and filmmakers who balance personal artistic endeavors with commercial production.
