Gun Safari was an American owned and operated business based out of Van Nuys, CA. During the short life of the company, Daniel Shamie, the founding member achieved a great accomplishment for the firearms community by becoming the first business since 1996 to receive a Federal Firearms License within Los Angeles city limits. We were a highly competitive retailer of firearms, firearm accessories, optics, body armor, tactical gear and more. Our mission was simple: provide our customers with the gear they needed at the prices they wanted, we were very successful at implementing that strategy while we were operating. Since the close of the company, owner Daniel Shamie has moved on to open Arms Unlimited, continuing where he left off with Gun Safari.
