Greenroads Foundation is the third-party, non-profit steward of the Greenroads™ Sustainability Rating System for roadway design and construction projects. Our mission is to benefit communities through education for sustainable transportation and the recognition of sustainability in roadway projects. Greenroads is a sustainability rating system applicable to roadway design and construction projects. We define a “Greenroad" as a roadway project that has been designed and constructed to a level of sustainability that is substantially higher than current common practice.
