About Garden of Gethsemane Homeless Shelter
Founded in 1996, the Garden of Gethsemane Homeless Shelter at Rainbow Community Center is the only Emergency Shelter in Rockdale or Newton County Georgia. Today, the Shelter has the capacity to serve up to 115 individuals, and with the decline in the economy, is seeing a rise in need for services.
