The Garces Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is committed to helping Philadelphia's underserved immigrant community gain access to medical, educational, and nutritional services. It currently runs three programs: Community Health Days - held four times a year, the foundation offers free medical and dental care for the uninsured and underserved population. English for the Restaurant and Everyday Living- an ESL program for immigrant restaurant workers to learn English, with the goal of personal and professional advancement. Luna Farm Field Trips - trips to Luna Farm in Bucks County for school aged children to learn how to harvest produce, cook healthy meals and snacks, and participate in physical exercise.
