Gale Force Logic was formed in 2010 to create games for mid-core gamers. Our definition of a mid-core gamer is one 25-44 years old and who continues to view video games as a viable source of entertainment. These gamers now have the funds to spend on video games, but the time to spend on long gaming sessions is non-existent. Our research revealed that in 2010, mid-core gamers represented 42 million gamers in the United States alone, and will continue to grow to 57 million gamers in the United States over the next six years. Therefore, our company’s goal is to create story-focused games with content relevant to this audience, then combine those experiences with accessible gameplay mechanics and modest time requirements. Gale Force Logic partnered with Joystick Labs, a local game studio incubator, to secure an initial seed investment and to work alongside them in their inaugural accelerator program.
