About Foundation for International Space Education
The Foundation for International Space Education (FISE) was established in 1996 and restructured as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation in 2008 under the Texas Nonprofit Corporation Act to bring high school students from around the world to Houston, Texas, for an aerospace educational experience. Each annual session of the school lasts two weeks, during which the students will be exposed to engineers, astronauts, and executives of the space industry who will advise them on a student-led team design project. The FISE mission is to provide space-based, academic instruction in a collaborative environment to international, pre-collegiate students while offering an introduction to the aerospace industry.
