Foundation Academies Careers in Trenton, NJ

Foundation Academy Charter School opened in August 2007 with 80-students in 5th and 6th grade. Today - ten-years later - we are the largest charter school in Trenton and serve nearly 10% of the city’s K-12 population. We are a team of like-minded, mission driven urban educators who believe a high-quality education is a fundamental human right. We hold our students, ourselves, and our community to extremely high standards because if we don’t, no one else will. The work we do is hard - but it’s well worth it: 100% of our graduates have been accepted to four-year colleges and universities; our students continuously and significantly outperform district and state peers in standardized tests (ie: PARCC) year after year. Our goal isn’t to turn kids into test-taking machines, our goal is to nurture the future generations of Trenton into civic-minded, engaged, well-rounded, life-long learners.
