Flipside Furnishings Careers in Los Angeles, CA

Flipside Furnishings was started, and continues to operate, from a small garage in the Westwood section of Los Angeles. The primary purpose of Flipside Furnishings is to create interesting and useful furniture out of discarded construction material and curb finds. Old furniture is reconceptualized and reborn into functional art pieces that reflect the whims of the creator, as well as the unrealized potential of the materials at hand. Every piece is original and handmade, and probably couldn’t be duplicated if I tried. But I haven’t jumped completely onto the “going green” bandwagon; original pieces using freshly felled lumber and newly manufactured materials are also made…hopefully to someday be found on a curb and recreated by another artist.
