The Employment Training Panel (ETP) is a business and labor supported state agency that assists employers in strengthening their competitive edge by providing funds to off-set the costs of job skills training necessary to maintain high-performance workplaces. The program serves as the State's premier economic development tool, encouraging many companies to locate or expand in California with the assistance of ETP's job training funds. ETP works because employers design their own training. They can select which full-time workers, new or existing, they would like to train.
