Eleazar Delgado Studio Careers in Miami, FL

Born in Oklahoma and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Eleazar Delgado studied architecture and interior design at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, and there is where he began his architectural explorations. During the 1980s, Delgado fell in the love with Miami’s vivid colors and its native surroundings and it was the radiant sunshine and the gleaming colors of the night that influenced his choice to paint the story of Miami, through the “Behind the Lights” collection. With this collection, Eleazar ventures out and explores the relationship between history and nature, fully illustrating the story of those who fashioned the Miami we know today. His use of bold, bright colors and geometric patterns brings to life the indigenous plants, animals, landmarks and the Miami visionaries who saw "beyond the wilderness".
