Double Fifth Dragon Boating is one of the world's largest providers of equipment for the sport of dragon boat racing. We also provide race management and coaching solutions. Owner Jeff Campbell started the company in 2005 as a hobby and to help support and promote the fast growing sport. He started competing in Portland, Oregon in 1996 and injury forced his retirement from active participation. Rather than walk away from the sport he formed a company called USA Dragon Boating, LLC and started selling dragon boat paddles out of his basement. There was a strong need for quality equipment at reasonable prices and this company fit the niche perfectly. The name was changed in 2007 to Double Fifth Dragon Boating. The sport is Chinese in origin and over 50 million people world wide pick up a paddle and race annually. Of course the vast majority are in Asia.
