Discovery Arts Careers in Orange, CA

Discovery Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that brings the healing power of the arts to children with cancer, serious blood disorders and life threatening illness while they are in the hospital receiving treatment. Our programs, called "Arts Adventures", are fun, creative adventures in music, art, dance and drama that strengthen children’s emotional health to help them better cope with the tremendous difficulties of their illness. "Arts Adventures" also provide essential, welcome support to the children’s families and to the medical community. Discovery Arts began as a volunteer effort by Entertainment Industry professionals and was formally incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency in 1998 with the mission to expand the delivery of these experiences to many more children hospitalized throughout southern California. Since then, we have consistently expanded our services and now provide regular programs for the children at Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA, Miller C
